Ugh! How frustrating. While I did manage to complete my last, 3 1/2 year, project, there was lots of time spent banging my head against a wall. One of the toughest things I've found about being a grad student is that there is no respite from the research. I look forward to the day when I have a balance of teaching and research in my schedule.

Ditto that. I completely understand (see: Damned Yeast Project). It's hard to be so close, yet so far.
